About SandStorm
SandStorm is a free browser game where the whole world is sand — and all of it can be taken apart.
The world
Sand, stone, water, oil, lava, ice, acid, timber, grass, gold. It falls, it flows, it burns, it floods. Dig into it, build with it, or bring the hillside down on whatever is standing on it.
The fight
You hold a stretch of a very wide map against waves that parachute in, land from drop ships, or are already dug in when the round begins. Between waves there is a lull — long enough to mine, rebuild, put out a fire, or dig somewhere better to fight from.
Getting stronger
Gold out of the ground unlocks weapons. Kills earn levels, and every level offers three upgrade cards to choose between. They stack, so no two runs end up the same.
